Amanda Bynes is back! But she's still under the watchful eye of 24-hour sobriety support. The actress recently spoke publicly for the first time in four years, saying that she's sober and ready to get back into acting.
While Bynes has been taking classes at the Fashion Institute for Design & Merchandising and helping out regularly at a local homeless shelter, sources exclusively told OK! that she often seems dazed and out of it.
"It's great that she's a functioning member of society again," the insider dished, "but her friends fear that the return to the spotlight she so craves could trigger another spiral. She just doesn't seem ready to handle a ton of public attention yet."

And while she wants to be an actress, nobody else is as confident in her ability as she is. "Despite her big announcement, it's unlikely she'll end up getting cast right away," the source continued.
"Amanda really needs to prove she's capable of being back onscreen. And Amanda's life coach Joy Stevens will have to be there every step of the way."
