Amber Portwood's nightmare continues. The Teen Mom OG star's second baby daddy, Andrew Glennon, is doing everything he can to keep their son, James, safe.

RadarOnline.com exclusively obtained court papers that revealed Andrew is demanding primary custody, child support and no unsupervised visits after Amber's arrest.
As previously reported, the mother-of-two hit Andrew with a shoe while he was holding James. She then allegedly attacked him with a machete, which led him to text 911 for help. She was arrested on July 5th and released the following day.
In court papers obtained from Marion County in Indiana, on July 9th, Andrew filed a Combined Verified Petition for Paternity Related Orders and Emergency Hearing Regarding Custody of a Child.
“Father believes it is in James’ best interests that he be awarded sole legal and primary physical custody,” the court papers read. “Father believes that it is not currently in James’ best interests for Mother to have unsupervised parenting time.”
Andrew is also asking for child support, insurance and payment of medical expenses.
“Mother was arrested on July 5, 2019, after she struck Father while he was holding James, and, then, charged at Father with a machete, also while father was holding James,” he wrote in the petition that detailed what went down before Amber was arrested.

“Father believes Mother is currently unable to provide a safe, stable and secure environment for James on an ongoing basis due to her frequent refusal and/or failure to take medicines prescribed to treat her mental-health conditions, among other concerns,” the papers read.
Amber’s battery arrest against her 10-year-old daughter Leah's dad, Gary Shirley, was also mentioned.
Andrew claimed that on July 8, he voluntarily submitted to questioning by the Department of Child Services following the arrest. “DCS informed Father that they intended to file a Child in Need of Services case… that Father was not to permit Mother to have unsupervised contact with James.” DCS would also “recommend to Juvenile Court that James be placed in Father’s custody.”
Before Amber's arrest, the little family was set to see fireworks for the 4th of July. Due to traffic, they were unable to attend the event, which led to the incident.
Andrew allegedly dropped Amber off at home to get her food and a gift and when he returned home, she allegedly threw a shoe at him while he was holding James. Then, Amber “threatened to kill herself" and "went to her drawer and took a handful of Klonopin and tossed it back like it was nothing,” the court papers claimed. She “regurgitated the pills” when he said he was going to call for help and after she allegedly picked up the machete, Andrew locked himself and their son in a room. “She hit the door with the machete and kicked the door and broke the handle,” the report read. Amber has denied the incident with the pills and machete, but admitted to hitting him while he was holding their son.
According to Radar, Amber is currently "staying with her mom right now.” She was also absent from the Teen Mom OG reunion this past weekend.
