Angelina Jolie is getting extremely candid in her latest interview with Vanity Fair, one of the very few she has done since her split from Brad Pitt after 12 years together, and makes it clear that even if she may not be showing it, the divorce is certainly impacting her a lot.

As a mother of six, it’s undeniable the 42-year-old gets stressed out, but after growing up with her mother and seeing how certain issues visibly brought her down, Angelina was determined to not let her children she her struggles.

“I was very worried about my mother, growing up — a lot. I do not want my children to be worried about me,” she said, before making a shocking confession.

I think it’s very important to cry in the shower and not in front of them. They need to know that everything’s going to be all right even when you’re not sure it is,” she continued.

And her strength has seemingly been passed on to her kids, as Angelina admitted they have been “very brave” when necessary.

But they are still being impacted by the changes that have taken place in their young lives. “They’re not healing from divorce,” Angelina said. “They’re healing from some…from life, from things in life.”
