Queen Elizabeth presented the actress with the insignia of an Honorary Dame Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of St. Michael and St. George.

Angelina’s husband Brad Pitt and their six children – Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shilo, and twins Vivienne and Knox – were all in attendance. Buckingham Palace released a statement: "The audience itself between Miss Jolie and the Queen was private. Her Majesty presented her with the insignia in its box. Mr Pitt and the rest of the family were introduced to the Queen afterwards, however."

Angelina stunned in a lavender jacket with matching skirt. She topped off the elegant look with Salvatore Ferragamo heels, pearl earrings and her hair pulled back in a bun. The Queen looked smart as well in a peach frock.
