Anne Hathaway has played tons of roles throughout her career, but she's about to land her most coveted one yet—mother! Sources say Anne has plans to start her family with husband of three-and-a-half years, Adam Shulman.

Sources tell OK! that Anne and Adam are in the process of adopting their first child, since she's been having trouble getting pregnant. "Anne is so happy and nervous. She can’t quite believe it’s so close to becoming a reality,” the source says of Anne, who's been vocal about her strong desire to be a mother.

Anne's career has been booming for years, and it got topped off with a Best Supporting Actress Oscar win in 2013. But now, she's ready to put the focus on her family. "I’ve had one goal in mind for the past 12 years,” Anne said in 2012, “which is: get a movie, get a movie, get a movie. Now I might have to say: get a baby, get a baby, get a baby.”

The couple is also reportedly in talks to move back to New York from their current home base of Los Angeles once the baby arrives, as Anne grew up in New Jersey and considers Manhattan her favorite city.
