Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban haven't been spotted together since the Screen Actors Guild Awards in January, and it's making fans speculate whether or not the two are on the rocks. And now, according to new reports, the A-list couple is making a last ditch effort to save their marriage with a special boot camp! Click through for more details.
Nicole, 50, and Keith, 50, have been married for 11 years, and apparently they're looking to rekindle the fire, because the two went to a top-secret "marriage boot camp," according to In Touch.
They went up to Cabot, Vermont for a five-day visit to Marriage Quest, a private counseling retreat, sources say. "Nicole and Keith went for an emergency stay," an insider revealed. "It was an extremely emotional and testing few days."
The two — who share daughters Sunday, 9, and Faith, 7 — "have been fighting constantly over Nicole's incessant jealousy and need to control Keith on every level," the source continued.
It was the country singer's idea to go to the camp as a final attempt at making things work. He even threatened to leave the marriage if Nicole didn't agree. "It was Keith’s idea to visit the boot camp," the insider said. "He gave her an ultimatum."
In Vermont, the two got real about their decade-plus relationship. "They addressed a range of issues, including emotional intimacy, and focused on the root of their problems as they learned to break down walls," the source said, "and start working on their issues rather than plastering over the cracks."
