Thanks, Pete! Ariana Grande FINALLY Gets Her First Billboard Hot 100 Number One

Ariana Grande has finally topped the Billboard Hot 100 charts, as her latest single "Thank U, Next" debuted at number one thanks to a super strong showing in streams and sales. Read on for all the details.

Not only is it her first time at number one, but she's also the first woman to debut there since Adele did five years ago with her monster hit "Hello".
The closest she's come to the top spot was in 2014 with her song "Problem" that featured Iggy Azalea. It hit number two.

"Thank U, Next" officially ends the 7-week run that Maroon 5 & Cardi B had with "Girls Like You" at number one.
It took the multiple VMA winner 35 entries to reach the pole position. The song, where she references several past relationships including Pete Davidson and Big Sean, dominated in streams and sales after only 5 days of being released, making it an easy victory on the charts.
Ariana tweeted her excitement about it on Monday by saying "yeeeeeee baby’s first number one."
