Ariana was not the only one in a light-up costume though. All four members of the country group wore one as well, and it entailed quite a bit of work! “So many people and so many wires in so many places,” the band said backstage. “It was a fragile and delicate situation. We couldn’t bend over or turn to the side or we would short out.” Luckily it all worked out in the end!

After Little Big Town sang Day Drinking during the CMA Awards, Ariana joined them for a rendition of her hit song Bang Bang, which she usually performs alongside Nicki Minaj and Jessie J.
