Ayesha Curry is offering her endless support to Vanessa Bryant in the wake of Kobe’s death. On Monday, January 27, the mother of three shared her condolences to social media after news broke that the retired Lakers star and his 13-year-old daughter, Gianna, died in a tragic helicopter crash.

In a post uploaded to Instagram, Ayesha, 30, shared a photo of Kobe and Gianna smiling. “Dear Lord, please cover Vanessa and her family,” she began. “Sending infinite prayers. My heart aches for her and the girls. I’ve written and deleted 100 times today. I have no words and they’re never going to come out the way I want them to. Praying for peace and protection over this family and other families involved. Rest In Peace and power, Gigi and Kobe.”

Ayesha’s husband, Steph Curry, shared a similar sentiment to Instagram as well. A lot of questions right now. Our faith is being tested, but all I can say is thank you ??. May you and Gianna rest easy!” the 31-year-old wrote alongside a photo of him hugging Kobe after a game.

On Sunday, January 26, Kobe and Gianna were among several other victims that were killed in a helicopter crash in Calabasas, California. In addition to Vanessa, 37, Kobe is also survived by his three daughters – CapriNatalia and Bianka.

In honor of his basketball accomplishments, the late 41-year-old will be inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame alongside the class of 2020.

“For 20 seasons, Kobe showed us what is possible when remarkable talent blends with an absolute devotion to winning. He was one of the most extraordinary players in the history of our game with accomplishments that are legendary, but he will be remembered most for inspiring people around the world to pick up a basketball and compete to the very best of their ability,” NBA commissioner, Adam Silver, said in a statement.
