Draya Michele says it’s all hers. The Basketball Wives star, 34, took to Twitter on Monday, November 18, to address claims that her body was not real after Twitter users claimed to have found her plastic surgeon.
“For the record, I’ve never had liposuction, s curve, fat transfer, and Brazilian butt lift … for any confusion out there,” the reality star tweeted.“There isn’t a doctor out there that can take credit for anything on me except these boobs and that’s Dr. David Kim Beverly Hills plastic surgery.”
The drama all started when the swimsuit designer shared a video on Instagram showing off her SAVAGE X FENTY lingerie haul over the weekend. In the clip, she showed off her body and backside. The video ultimately lead the reality star to open up about past plastic surgery. Fans were so amazed by Draya curves that the reality star ended up trending on Twitter.
However, all the attention had many speculating whether or not Draya’s body was all natural or if she got work done.
Even after her tweet, many fans didn’t buy the claim that she only got her breast done. Some users even dug up old pictures of the reality star to prove their point. “If Draya is going to puff out her chest and say the only plastic surgery she’s had is on her boos then I’m ‘bout to turn the f**k up in the gym. Let’s test your theory, sis,” a Twitter user wrote.
One user reminded the reality star that those who watched season 2 of Basketball Wives LA may beg to differ to which another person agreed. “Thank you. Someone remembered! She said when she used to strip or sh*t, the environment pressured her to change her physical appearance etc,” the user wrote.
While the internet may have been split down the middle on whether Draya was telling the truth or not, others simply encouraged the reality star to just be straight-up truthful.
“We really need to hurry up and destigmatize plastic surgery because y’all need to stop blatantly lying like this to us and making women feel like a body like that is attainable … surgery is okay Draya omg,” one user wrote.
