Bella Hadid strutted her stuff at the Met Gala and showed off in Cannes, but fans couldn’t help but notice The Weeknd has been noticeably absent during the events. Fans also think he’s intentionally taken down photos of her from his Instagram page. So has the famous couple split? Scroll through for more details.
Bella, 23, posted a photo on her Instagram story on May 23, which she has since deleted, of her holding The Weeknd’s hand. She captioned the sweet picture, “I miss my king.” The picture was from their trip to Abu Dhabi in November 2018.
The next day she uploaded a photo of flowers, donuts, healing crystals and more captioned, “Sending all of you love, light, and a very, very big virtual hug. Whoever needs to hear it: This too shall pass ... I promise ?.”
Fans immediately flocked to the last photo she posted of The Weeknd on March 30. One person asked, “Are they still together? Cause I don’t see any photos on his page like the ones he had.” The Weeknd’s last photo of the model on his Instagram is from Christmas.
Others speculated, “It’s so sad, that girl loves her man more than he loves her.” Another similarly said, “He never looks at you with such mutual significance and is always so empty-eyed. Byeeeeee.”
The last known time Bella and The Weeknd, 29, were spotted together was during the first weekend of Coachella on April 12. They ditched the festival for a tropical vacation.
The model and the “Low Life” singer have been on-and-off since 2015. The Weeknd dated Selena Gomez in 2017 before reconciling with Bella in 2018.
