Absence certainly made the heart grow fonder this week for Ben Affleck and girlfriend Lindsay Shookus. The two were snapped on a post-Christmas date after spending the holiday apart. Click the gallery for all the details!
While many girlfriends would have felt a kind of way if their boyfriend told them they’d have to spend Christmas without them, Lindsay, 37, seemed to have been a good sport about boyfriend Ben, 45, ringing in the holiday with his ex Jennifer Garner and his three kids, Samuel, 5, Seraphina, 8, and Violet, 12.
But it was hard to miss the sad expression on the Saturday Night Live producer’s face when she was spotted on a dinner date the very next day with Ben, who recently checked back into a rehab center for alcohol addiction.
Though they were at the celebrity hotspot Nobu in Malibu, the two looked rather unhappy to be there. Could Lindsay be getting tired of Ben’s rehab drama?

Despite the sour looks on both their faces, it was a good sign they the couple wore matching black jeans and black jackets on their night out. The couple that dresses together…stays together?
The couple recently moved in together in New York, and Lindsay even met Ben’s kids and his ex Jennifer, so the two seemed to be doing okay. Maybe this was just a bad night?
