Ben Stiller and his wife Christine Taylor shocked fans on Friday when they made the announcement that they were calling it quits on their marriage after two children and a whopping 17 years together! In a joint statement, the pair said,“With tremendous love and respect for each other, and the 18 years we spent together as a couple, we have made the decision to separate. Our priority will continue to be raising our children as devoted parents and the closest of friends. We kindly ask that the media respect our privacy at this time.” While the majority of Hollywood is totally thrown off guard by the split, what if the duo's failed marriage wasn't such a shock after all, but was rather, a long time coming?
