However, a new tell-all book by celebrity journalist J. Randy Taraborrelli is reigniting the questions about the power couple’s union!

In the unauthorized biography, Taraborrelli writes that Jay became frustrated with Bey in 2005 due to her dedication to her work. And their problems ultimately lead to the two to splitting up that same year! “He felt that she was too concerned with work and overwhelmed by it…She also had a tendency to become moody and defensive when under great work pressure, and it had begun to drive a wedge between her and Jay,” he wrote.
