Beyonce may not be doing many interviews these days, but her mother Tina Knowles has been more than willing to share information about the icon. Amid speculation that Bey and Jay Z are having marriage turmoil, it turns out their wedding day was anything but picture perfect!
While the Beyhive was craving to see a glimpse of her 2008 ceremony (and finally got there wish in 2011 with her music video I Was Here), it turns out the 34-year-old was not the biggest fan of her stunning white dress. And guess what?! It was designed by her mother!
On the Today show, Tina admitted her daughter was not too happy, though Tina has been designing outfits from her since she first became famous with Destiny’s Child.

“She was so sweet to let me do that,” Tina said about her daughter letting her make her special dress. Based on clips she shared of her wedding, no one would guess that Bey was displeased by her mom's design!
Tina continued, "She came back later one day and she said, ‘You know, when my daughter gets married, I’m going to let her pick out her own dress. Maybe she wasn’t so excited about it at the time, but she’s a sweetheart."
