The 2019 MTV Movie & TV Awards aired on Monday, June 17, and there were more than a few memorable moments during the show! The event, which taped on Saturday, June 15, was held at the Barkar Hanger in Santa Monica, California.

Host Zachary Levi poked fun at Ray J during his opening monologue. "Ray J from Love & Hip Hop is here. Although I'm sure some of you are more familiar with his work as a cameraman," Zachary joked, referencing Ray J's infamous sex tape with ex Kim Kardashian.

Dwayne Johnson Accepts The Generation Award

Dwayne Johnson accepted the Generation award and shared a quick lesson he's learned over the years. "The most powerful thing we can be is ourselves. I made a choice — I wasn't going to conform to Hollywood, Hollywood was going to conform to me," he told the audience.

Nick Cannon won the award for Best Host, and said he created Wild n' Out to be able to give his friends a job. He also revealed plans for a Wild n' Out movie and tour.

Tiffany Haddish presented Jada Pinkett Smith with the Trailblazer award. She brought son Jaden Smith up with her on stage to watch as she delivered a powerful speech. "Often we applaud the trails people blaze in the external world that we can see, but very rarely do we applaud the trails that are blazed in the hidden rooms of the mind. Every single person in this room is trailblazing, whether it's within or without," she said.

Avengers: Endgame Wins Best Movie

Avengers: Endgame was crowned the Best Movie to round out the show, and Chris Hemsworth and Robert Downey Jr. taped video messages for the crowd after director Anthony Russo accepted the Moon Man.
