Bobbi Kristina Brown Passes At 22: Her Family Members' Reactions After Her Death

Bobbi Kristina Brown, the daughter of the late Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown, died Sunday at the age of 22 after months of hospitalization, but her family was by her side during and after she passed.

"Bobbi Kristina Brown passed away Sunday, July, 26 2015, surrounded by her family," the statement said. "She is finally at peace in the arms of God. We want to again thank everyone for their tremendous amount of love and support during these last few months."

The 22-year-old was moved to Peachtree Christian Hospice in Atlanta after spending time at two separate hospitals. She was found unresponsive in her bathtub in her Roswell home on Jan. 31, almost three years exactly to the date of the death of her mother.

Bobby Brown was by her side while she was placed in a medically-induced coma as well as when she was moved to hospice care on June 24 while her “condition continued to deteriorate.”

Despite reports that the family was fighting over what to do about Bobbi Kristina, Bobby Brown released a statement in mid June saying they were working together.

"I am making decisions with Pat Houston and we are working together for the medical care of my daughter," Brown said in a statement. "Right now we are focused on Bobbi Kristina's medical prognosis and the criminal investigation. These are the priorities for us. Whoever had a hand in causing my daughter's injuries needs to be brought to justice."

The same month, a criminal suit was filed against Nick Gordon, who grew up in Whitney’s home and was allegedly married to Bobbi Kristina, which is being handled by the Roswell Police Department.

The Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office said that an autopsy will be conducted for Bobbi Kristina following her death.
