After spending Thanksgiving with their grandparents in South Carolina, the Bates family figured they'd stop by Alyssa & John's place in Florida since they don't get to see each other very often. And boy, did they pack quite a lot of Floridian activities into a few days! Here's our photo recap of Bringing Up Bates episode 11.

First, the entire family arrives to John & Alyssa's house. And it takes Alyssa a while to figure out how to cook for 21 people when she's used to only cooking for two—soon to be three, since she's pregnant with her and John's daughter—but dinner was a success.

The next day, the Bates take a trip to the beach. And yes, the ultra-conservative family goes swimming in their clothes. "We like people and we like the beach, but we like when people keep their clothes on at the beach," Gil says of their fellow beach-goers wearing bathing suits.

Later it's a trip to the aquarium, where the family meets the celebrity dolphin who starred in the movie, Dolphin Tale. Famous!

Then, because that wasn't Floridian enough, the family goes orange-picking during their trip to the Sunshine State. Yummy souvenirs!

And just before they head back to Arkansas, the family takes one last joy ride in a huge monster truck through a swamp filled with alligators. The little kids weren't so into it, but at least they tried!
