It’s been over a month since Maddie Aldridge departed New Orleans’ Children’s Hospital, amazingly free of serious injury after a terrifying ATV accident just five days prior. And her aunt, Britney Spears, is making sure that milestone doesn’t go unnoticed! The pop star brought her whole family, sons and nieces included, to Disney World to celebrate the little girl’s miracle.
The impromptu trip began with the royal pop star treatment, as Brit picked up her fam in a private plane on Sunday night, an insider told Us Weekly. Brit posted a slideshow of pics from her family’s epic day on Instagram, showing off the their matching red Darth Vader t-shirts, their supersized milkshakes, and their ride on Splash Mountain.
According to the source, the singer was invited to the park in honor of the Planet Hollywood Observatory’s grand opening at Disney Springs, Orlando, Florida. Brit wanted to include her whole family, including her sis and Maddie’s mom Jamie Lynn and her husband Jamie Watson, in the visit to the happiest place on Earth.
Jamie Lynn also shared plenty of pics on her Instagram story from the awesome day, including one from a spin on the magic tea cup ride!
Jamie and her family have credited fans’ prayers with helping her daughter pull through the accident unscathed. “I’ll never stop thanking each of you for your prayers, because we recognize the miracle it created,” she wrote on Instagram a month after the accident.
