Jason Aldean's wife Brittany Aldean is finally feeling like herself again. She showed off her 17 pound weight loss in a sexy bikini while shooting a campaign for the South Beach Diet in Miami on Tuesday, January 28.
Brittany, 31, is an ambassador for the meal system delivery service. She shares son Memphis, 2, and daughter Navy, 11 months, with Jason. Going through two pregnancies so close together left Brittany struggling to regain her figure and battling postpartum depression.
"I gained 40 pounds with both of my children and it took me a lot longer to start feeling myself after my second child. I felt really down. Eventually I came to a point where I knew that I just had to take charge. I really wanted to focus on my health and what I was putting into my body. I started South Beach and saw and felt the results almost immediately. I was a better 'me' both mentally and physically and I am thankful that I found a program that truly works as a lifestyle," she explained.
She continued, "This shoot was so much fun because I felt comfortable in my skin again! I give credit to South Beach Diet because they have made it so easy. I take my meals, snacks and shakes on the road with me, which is so key for keeping me on track. I'm a firm believer that food is fuel. Eating healthy gives me energy and let's face it, I need all the energy I can get with our busy life and these two babies running around! This isn't the first time Brittany has gotten candid about her struggles with her post-baby body. "You feel almost like your in an alien body. It’s not yours. It’s nice to find comfort in knowing it’s not going to take a week to do. It’s going to take time," she confessed in September 2019.
The American Idol alum suffered post-labor complications after delivering Navy in February 2019. "When your labor goes amazing ... but then things go south. Still hospital living with my trooper of a hubs and a precious little girl. One blood transfusion ... and swollen everything," she wrote on Instagram at the time.
Brittany and Jason tied the knot after two years of dating on March 21, 2015 in Mexico.
