Get ready to see her name on your TV screens because Litchfield is reportedly getting a new inmate! OK! has exclusively learned that Orange Is The New Black producers are approaching Caitlyn Jenner for a cameo role in season 4.
The 65-year-old has befriended OITNB star and fellow transgender woman Laverne Cox. A source tells OK! that the two “hit it off right away.”
“Laverne though Caitlyn’s personal narrative would dovetail nicely with the story line of her character, Sophia, whose prison pals turned on her last season,” reveals the insider.
The ex-Olympian has been a very vocal advocate about LGBTQ rights. “It’s the perfect time for Caitlyn to come in and help Sophia take a stand against the bullies. Plus, with Cait’s popularity, she’d surely draw more viewers,” says the source.
The I Am Cait star recently made headlines for accepting the Arthur Ashe Courage Award at the 2015 ESPYs.
