Camila Cabello Is Named Save the Children Ambassador After Puerto Rico Visit

Camila Cabello was just named as an ambassador for Save the Children. The announcement comes following her trip to visit with kids at a daycare in Puerto Rico after Hurricane Maria hit the island.

Camila, who was born in Cuba before moving to South Florida told People magazine, “I grew up on an island in the Caribbean and felt compelled to help the people impacted by Hurricane Maria in whatever way I could.”

“Seeing Save the Children’s dedicated staff in Puerto Rico was truly inspiring,” she continued.

Camila joins stars like Jennifer Garner, Olivia Wilde and Dakota Fanning, who have all been ambassadors for the organization.
