Cardi B  got into some hot water when she starred in a very derogatory skit about Martin Luther King Jr's wife, Coretta Scott, called Real Housewives of the Civil Rights Movement. She has since apologized to his daughter, Bernice, but are things really mended? Keep reading for the latest.

The new mom portrayed Coretta in a parody video that was shared online on Tuesday. The skit showed her and other actors as they acted out and talked about the civil rights activists' alleged affairs.

The mini-play came to light on the same day (August 28) as the 55th anniversary of Martin’s 1963 “I Have A Dream” speech. It was part of  Wild ‘N Out’s Rip Michaels new show, Off the Rip.

Of course, Martin and Coretta's youngest daughter, Bernice was offended by the skit. But on August 28, she tweeted out a response in regards to Cardi's apology. The 55-year-old expressed a cold desire to meet with the "I Like It" singer.

The 25-year-old has not yet publicly made a statement about the video but Rip is taking full responsibility for the offensive jokes.

He tweeted to Bernice and apologized as he claimed he didn't mean to destroy and defame her family's legacy.
