Last year, the festival boasted the first ever live performance of Lil Nas X and Billy Ray’s record breaking hit “Old Town Road.” More recently however, the festival made waves among fans of Bachelor in Paradise. During the show's sixth season, it was revealed that contestant Blake Horstmann hooked up with both Caelynn Miller-Keyes and Kristina Schulman on back-to-back nights during the festival.

Stagecoach’s talent buyer Stacy Vee joked about the love triangle in a statement. "As it turns out, what happens at Stagecoach doesn’t always stay at Stagecoach! We are sorry to hear about the heap of trouble Blake has gotten himself into,” she said at the time. “Hopefully he can work it out and come and see us again this year — we loved seeing the gang at the show!”

Blake later addressed the drama on Instagram after his stint on the reality show. “I hope that this is not the end of my story and I can look back at this summer and be grateful for the lessons learned and the friends made," he wrote before adding, “I’m still going to Stagecoach.”
