Teen Mom OG star Catelynn Lowell has checked herself back into rehab to battle suicidal thoughts. The decision comes just days after she cut her previous stay short.

“Catelynn is back in treatment,” a source told RadarOnline.com. “She’s back in Arizona, but we don’t know for how much longer.”

The insider denies that Catelynn experienced a relapse, explaining that Catelynn simply wanted to complete the remainder of her program, which she had checked into on November 17th, and left on December 14th.

“She decided to complete the full program,” the source explained. “She should be finished completely early to mid January. Everyone is very relieved that she’s finishing her stay.”

“Cate just misses Nova and wants to be home for the holidays,” her husband Tyler Baltierra said after the checkout. He later hinted on December 18th that she had returned to the facility before Christmas Day.

“This is the first Christmas without Cate since I was 14,” he wrote on Instagram, sharing a photo of their two-year-old daughter Novalee. “It’s a little disheartening, but then I get to see this little cutie open some presents & it instantly puts the spirit right back in me! Merry Christmas everyone!”

Despite the pain of spending time apart, Catelynn is determined to get healthy for her own sake, and for the sake of her family.

“I’m taking the time I need right now to take good care of myself," she wrote previously. "On November 17, I thought of every way possible to commit suicide, from wrapping a belt around my neck to just running my car into an electric pole.”
