Chris Soules and Whitney Bischoff were finally able to go public with their relationship after the season finale of The Bachelor aired. But Prince Farming went from hiding out to the dance floor, as he made his ballroom debut on Dancing With the Stars on Monday. With a busy schedule full of practices ahead of him, are his marriage plans to his fiancée on hold?
When asked when the duo will walk down the aisle, Chris admitted that the couple’s current priority is getting used to life in LA. “We’re transitioning here into a life in LA and she’s living here as well,” Chris told E! News. “So it’s one step at a time and that’s what we’re focused on. Wedding plans will come naturally.”
Although Chris is literally in the spotlight, he insisted that he wants to be “sort of out of the spotlight and in public and being normal” with his fiancée. Good luck with that, Chris!
So why did the farmer from Iowa join the dancing competition instead of heading to Arlington with his love? He told OKMagazine.com during a conference call, “It’s just an exciting opportunity for a farmer from Arlington, Iowa, and to be able to put myself out there in a way that I’ve never been able to.”
But although there is no set date on when the wedding will be, he did confess to joining the show so he could be prepared for the big day! “I’m having fun already and I’m learning how to dance,” he told us. “That might come in handy with the wedding coming around the corner. I might need to dance at it!”
