Turns out the 20-carat sparkler that he got for her was actually heavily discounted, even though it still came out to $2 million.
The jeweler associated with the massive rock has a close relationship with the hotel heiress, so it could've been used as great publicity for them after they shared the news about their engagement.
Paris was reportedly the one to call things off with Chris, meaning that under California law... he gets the ring back.
According to the site he wants the ring back, but reportedly hasn't asked Paris yet!
They got engaged in the beginning of 2018 during their vacation in Aspen. She spoke out quite a bit about their planned nuptials over the past year, including her idea of having three different weddings. The former couple was first linked as an item back in 2017.
