Christina Anstead and Tarek El Moussa are continuing their work relationship three years after they split in December 2016! The Flip Or Flop stars divorce finalized in January 2018 and they are about to film their third season since then.
The season 8 finale of Flip Or Flop airs on December 12 and it won’t be the last. HGTV announced that Christina, 36, and Tarek, 38, will be filming for season 9 nearly three years after they split.
According to People, the upcoming season is expected to air in August 2020.
In addition to their joint show, both have separate series’ on HGTV. Christina On The Coast season 2 premieres in January and Tarek’s first season of Flipping 101 w/Tarek El Moussa premieres in early 2020.
In May 2018, the exes addressed why they decided to continue to work together. “When our marriage fell apart, it was more public than we could ever have imagined,” Christina said on the season 7 premiere. Tarek chimed in and said, “But we’re picking up the pieces and we’ll still work together to support our kids.”

Christina and Tarek have been coparenting their children Taylor and Brayden and doing joint events for their kids. On December 10, they attended Taylor’s holiday concert at school together. “We all sit together — my family and Tarek’s family,” Christina wrote on Instagram.
“A couple people acknowledged how nice this is — I know there are a lot of divorced couples (including Tarek’s mom and dad) who do this too and it’s honestly easier for everyone,” she continued. “Plus Taylor’s face lights up when she sees us all in the same row supporting her.”
Both Christina and Tarek have moved on romantically. Tarek and Selling Sunset star Heather Rae Young were first linked in July 2019. Christina got remarried to Wheeler Dealers host Ant in December 2018.
The Christina On The Coast star and Ant, 40, welcomed their son, Hudson, in September and Tarek revealed he was excited to bond with Hudson. “He’s gonna be a part of my life, and I’m looking forward to it. It’s the brother to my kids,” Tarek told Us Weekly in November.
