Jill Duggar didn’t wait long to meet her cousin Amy’s newborn son Daxton Ryan! The Counting On star went to the hospital on October 10, just a day after Amy gave birth to get a few “baby snuggles” from Daxton.

Jill had a huge smile as she cuddled up with Daxton who was swaddled in a bear printed blanket. “Welcome to the world Daxton Ryan King!!” she wrote on Instagram.

She gave her best wishes to Amy and Dillon King, who are first-time parents. “So excited for y’all!” Jill added. “Thanks for letting me pop in earlier and snatch some baby snuggles!”

The Counting On star added the hashtags “He’s A Keeper” and “My Adorable Baby Cousin.”

Jill shared another close-up photo on Daxton on her Instagram Story. “This kid… is so adorable!” she wrote. “We love you Daxton Ryan!”

Many of Amy’s other cousins are away in either Los Angeles or Aspen for different family trips, although they’ve all commented there excitement to meet Daxton. “A new cousin! ? We’re so excited for Amy and Dillon!! Congratulations on the birth of precious Daxton Ryan! ? We can’t wait for all of the snuggles,” the family wrote on Instagram.

Amy told OKMagazine.com in August that she got the most baby advice from her cousins Jessa and Jill, who are both moms to boys. “They just told me to love on that baby and spend time bonding with Dax when he’s here and not rush back to work,” she said.

Contrary to her cousins, who filmed their at-home births for Counting On, Amy opted to have a hospital birth. “Oh, I’m scared as ever to give birth,” she told OK! “Give me all the good meds. I’m like, for real.”

Amy gave birth via C-section on her due date, October 9, after her doctor informed her and Dillon that there was an “85% chance” that they would have an “emergency situation.” She told fans, “I'm sure there will be negative comments. But I have to do what's right for my body and what's healthy for my son.”
