Joy-Anna Duggar is trying something new! And before the haters could critique her, the Counting On star revealed she loves her new look —and so does her husband Austin Forysth.

Joy, 21, shared this selfie of her and Austin, 25. In the caption, she wrote, “Yea, I know my Annie Oakley braids make me look like I’m twelve years old ??♀️. I like them, and Austin thinks I’m cute with them so that’s all that matters!! ???.”
Some fans loved Joy’s braids. “I love your braids. You are adorable!” one fan wrote.
“I think your braids look nice. You look so happy,” said another.
Others didn’t like that Joy put her husband’s opinion over her own. “No, sweetie. What matters is YOU. Not your teenage husband. Don’t lose sight of yourself. I dye my hair jet black. Husband hates it. I continue to do it because *I* like it. Married or not, YOU belong to YOU and only YOU,” advised a follower.

“Doesn’t matter what anyone else says if you like them wear them??,” said another.
This isn’t the first time Joy has had to deal with backlash from followers over her hubby. When a fan commented on a couple’s photo, “Somehow I don’t feel like you do love your over controlling and over bearing husband,” she replied, “I love him MORE than I ever have!”
Since then, Joy’s been posting more about her hubby on Instagram. She shared photos from his birthday and recently said she was “madly in love” with him in a post.
