Lauren Duggar and Josiah have officially been husband and wife for a year! The pregnant Counting On star reminisced about their special day as well as their marital struggles on June 30.
Lauren, 20, posted photos from their wedding on Instagram. “Can’t believe it’s already been a year since we said ‘I do,’” she wrote.
The Counting On star shared, “I remember the big day and just how excited we both were about getting married. Oh, the memories!”
“We’ve had more downs than ups than any newly married couple should ever have,” she admitted. As Counting On fans know, Lauren miscarried in November 2018. The couple is now expecting their first child this fall.
She added, “We wouldn’t trade it for anything. It’s our story. We are SO blessed!❤️ Looking forward to growing old and more in love with you.”
Lauren later shared photos revealing what they did to celebrate. The couple had an intimate picnic with steak, broccoli and baked potato. There was also a photo from their wedding placed atop their makeshift table.
“Simple… but romantic,” Lauren said of the date.
