Courteney Cox appears to be in favor of a possible Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt reunion! The former Friends star “liked” a photo that showcased the behind-the-scenes interaction that took place between the former couple on Sunday, January 19.
The photo posted to Instagram showed Jennifer, 50, and the 56-year-old’s backstage run-in at the 26th annual Screen Actors Guilds Awards show.
During the event, Brad appeared to be looking at Jennifer in awe as she accepted her award. The Just Go With It actress was nominated for her role in the Morning Show.
After learning that her ex watched her acceptance speech, Jennifer explained that she appreciates his support. "It means everything, we all grew up together, this whole room," she explained. "That's why their performances just move me and excite me and allow me to be here. It's fantastic. We're part of a community together and now we get to get back to work. We're up at 4 and we're there for 16 hours and we rinse and repeat, and it's a lot of work so it's nice to have a night where you get to dress up and celebrate each other and go back to the hair and makeup truck, learn your monologues."
A source for InTouch reported that Jennifer smiled from ear-to-ear after she was caught chatting it up with Brad. “Jennifer was cracking jokes with reporters,” the source added. “Reporters were commenting that this was the happiest they’ve ever seen her, the best mood they ever witnessed from the typically press-shy, more closed off Jen.”
As OK! readers might recall, the former couple tied the knot in July 2000 before calling it quits in January 2005. Following their split, the friendly exes have remained cordial. Back in February 2019, Brad attended Jennifer’s 50th birthday bash.
The former couple also sat feet apart at the 2020 Golden Globes awards in January 2020 where Jennifer was caught laughing at Brad’s joke.
