Cynthia Bailey shocked her The Real Housewives of Atlanta fans when she admitted during an interview with The Daily Dish that she was no longer with her husband Peter Thomas after their RHOA marriage scandal! But after revealing the truth behind their relationship woes, the model and entrepreneur quickly bounced back as she continued to come to terms with her marriage’s meltdown!
“The status of our relationship is we are not in a good place. Peter is in Charlotte, and as you can see, I'm in New York," Bailey told The Daily Dish about her marriage issues with Thomas. "We're definitely not together. I have been taking some time for myself to just kind of figure out how I would like to move forward. We haven't officially done anything at this point, but we are definitely talking about taking steps to officially move forward in a different direction."
But following the release of the interview, Bailey continued to promote her new eyewear line, hosting a trunk show in Atlanta, Georgia, only a few weeks after her split reveal!
Bailey also made trips to New York City and Los Angeles, California, to hang out with her friends and promote RHOA’s Season 8 and her business projects!

Her solo fun didn’t stop with the fashions and accessories, though. She snapped a photo with Hilary Clinton during one of her press runs!
And celebrated her first Cynthia Bailey Teen Model Search through her Cynthia Bailey Modeling Agency as well!
While Bailey was working hard on her businesses, Thomas was also putting the finishing touches on his new club in Charlotte, North Carolina!
But fans of the duo noted that Bailey didn’t promote her estranged husband’s new venture on any of her social media! And a source speaking to Life & Style said that the two were actually at odds over the status of their relationship, with Thomas wanting to save their marriage despite his wife's lack of interest in reconciling!
The insider said that Thomas “desperately wants to stay married to her and work things out.” However, the source added that their lack of communication added an extra challenge to his plans. “They only communicate via text or occasionally a phone call if they absolutely have to talk.
