‘Dancing With The Stars’ Crowns A New Winner!

Dancing with the Stars crowned its 26th winner last night in its first ever all-athletes edition of the popular reality competition program. Did figure skaters Adam Rippon, Tonya Harding or NFL player Josh Norman take home the coveted mirrorball trophy Monday night?

In the end, Olympic Bronze Medalist Adam Rippon pulled out the win with his partner Jenna Johnson!

And Jenna is now one for two on DWTS! She won her first ever competition after only being on the show for two seasons.

Adam spoke with OK! exclusively last month about going into DWTS quite worried and unsure of how he will do on the dance floor. “You know, I am a performer, but attached to my ankles I unfortunately have two sloppy, floppy biscuits,” he said. “Wet ones. The antibacterial wipes, that’s what attached to my ankles… nothing.”

Turns out those “sloppy, floppy biscuits” did well enough to earn him the mirrorball trophy on Monday night. He shared a photo with Jenna on his Instagram after they won, with the caption "MIRROR BALL CHAMPS!!!”

Tonya, who has been experiencing a career resurgence due to the Oscar-winning movie I, Tonya, received a ton of support during her time on DWTS, notably from Allison Janney, who showed up for a taping of the show back in April. The former West Wing star won an Oscar for her performance as Tonya’s mother.

Margot Robbie, who played the former figure skater in the movie, also shared some words of encouragement about her as well.
