Deena Cortese is only weeks away from being a first-time mommy! The Jersey Shore star took to her Instagram on Friday to share some updated baby bump photos while responding to an issue that some of her fans have asked to her about. Read on for all the details.
She posted two separate pic, one belly-baring and one not, while referring to the current state of her pregnancy as "smuggling a bowling ball."
The mother-to-be discussed her reasonings as to why she holds her belly often, saying "Because I feel like I have this special connection with my son.. every move he makes ..when his little head or butt are sticking out and I feel lopsided." Deena and her husband Chris Brucker first broke the news that they are expecting a boy back in July.
"I might not be able to hold him right now but holding and rubbing my belly makes me feel closer to him .. no it’s not me keeping him in from falling out (so clever) .. it’s me having a special connection with my son," she continued.

Looks like their boy will arrive just before the New Year, as his due date is wedged between Christmas and NYE! "7 weeks and 3 days to go!," she exclaimed at the end of the post.
It's been a super exciting time for Deena, as she had her over-the-top baby shower last weekend which was attended by all of her Jersey Shore girls including Sammi 'Sweetheart' Giancola!
