If Demi Lovato and Wilmer Valderrama wanted to get back together, her mom Dianna De La Garza approves! The “Sober” singer’s mom gushed about her daughter’s former boyfriend of six years and said he’ll always have a place in their family. Read on for more details!
“I absolutely adore Wilmer,” Dianna, 56, told Us Weekly on April 24.
She continued, “If Demi came up and said they were getting back together, I would not have a problem with that at all. But at the same time, those are her decisions, I can’t make them for her, you know, whoever she decides to be with in life, I’m sure I’m going to be very happy with.”
Dianna further gushed about Demi’s ex and said, “Wilmer will always have a very special place in our hearts and in the family and that will never change, for any of us.”
As fans of the “Sober” singer know, she dated the NCIS actor from 2010-2016. Demi, 26, talked about their relationship and its downfall in detail in her YouTube documentary Simply Complicated.
Despite their split, Wilmer, 39, frequently visited Demi when she entered rehab after her near-fatal overdose on July 24, 2018.
Demi just ended her relationship with Henri Levy in March, so perhaps her mom Dianna is hoping Wilmer comes back into the picture.
