Ellen DeGeneres may have terrified Diddy on her show by scaring him off with an employee dressed as a clown, but the rapper got the last laugh! For Halloween, the rap mogul dressed as the same character who nearly gave him a heart attack.

On an episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show last week, Diddy told Ellen he was absolutely not afraid of clowns. “Impossible … because I’m a black man. I have so many other things to be fearful of — a clown is not going to scare me,” he insisted.

At that same moment, a clown jumped out of the table between Diddy and Ellen’s chairs, and it caused Diddy to scream and leap out of his seat. “You really affected my street cred with that, all right?” he joked afterward.

Diddy was a good sport about the scenario, though, and even embraced the very thing that terrified him by dressing up as it for Halloween! He posted videos of his transformation on his Instagram story.

The rapper matched the look exactly — he wore a white clown suit with red pom poms, a bright red-haired wig, and the same terrifying white mask.

While his look was spine chilling, Diddy had a fun Halloween night. He even posted a video of him and his sons dancing their way through his house.
