Did Diddy shade ex-girlfriend Cassie after she married new husband Alex Fine? The "Official Girl' singer surprised fans by marrying the fitness trainer in an intimate ceremony on Wednesday, September 25. The Bad Boy Records founder wrote a cryptic message on Instagram shortly after the wedding announcement.
Director Peter Berg officiated Cassie, 33, and Alex's nuptials. He shared a photo of the special day and captioned it, "By the power vested in me.... @alexfine44 n @cassie ❤️?❤️ Long may you ride!" The photo showed a heavily pregnant Cassie dressed in white while her hubby was decked out in a suit. The ceremony took place outside.
On September 26, Diddy, 49, posted a quote on social media. “Keep Going. I’ve got you. – The Universe,” the post read.
Alex, 26, and Cassie were together for almost a year before walking down the aisle. The Step Up 2 star is currently pregnant with the couple's first child.
The professional bull rider shared the same video and wrote, “This moment will always be so special to me. I get to marry my best friend in the whole world. How am I so lucky!” But just a few days before Alex got down on one knee, the two obtained a marriage license.
Alex and Cassie started dating in December 2018 after her decade long relationship with Diddy came to an end. The rapper congratulated his former flame shortly after they shared their baby news. He wrote on Instagram, “Congratulations @Cassie and Alex. I wish you all nothing but love and happiness. God bless L O V E.”
The "No Time" singer and Cassie dated on and off for 11 years before parting ways in early 2018.
