In an interesting turn of events, President Donald Trump refused to concede the 2020 Election on Saturday, November 7, telling his Twitter followers that multiple lawsuits were being prepped over Joe Biden’s win. Trump made claims that thousands of illegal mail-in ballots helped his opponent’s rise in votes from states, including Pennsylvania, Nevada and Georgia, before going on to insist that “the election is far from over.”

While some would have already lost count of the many Twitter rants Trump has made in the past few days, the President still found time to destress from all the venting with a game of golf at his property in Virginia over the weekend. But what else has Trump done since losing the election?

He Returned To The White House

After a lengthy rant on Twitter, stressing that he he “won” the election, Trump returned to the White House on November 7, looking anything but pleased following the announcement of Biden’s win. After news broke that Biden would give a victory speech from Delaware on Saturday, the White House said that Trump was not looking to make any further appearances over the weekend.

Mail-In Ballot Controversy

Trump said that the millions of illegal mail-in ballots ended up costing him his win in the 2020 election, which has brought on a handful of lawsuits filed by his organization.

He Played Golf

Trump remained nonchalant about Biden’s win as he kept himself occupied with a game of golf out in Sterling, Va. He was joined by three golfing partners, who were later photographed in deep conversation with the President, presumably to converse over his loss in the 2020 election. And while the election may have ended, Trump assured his Twitter followers that things were “far from over.”

He Didn’t Concede

On Saturday, November 7, Trump refused to concede the presidential election to Biden, insisting that his campaign is planning to unleash multiple lawsuits over claims that thousands of illegal votes were included through mail-in ballots. In one of his first statements, Trump argued: “Joe Biden has not been certified as the winner of any states, let alone any of the highly contested states headed for mandatory recounts, or states where our campaign has valid and legitimate legal challenges that could determine the ultimate victor.”

He Challenged The Election

Trump’s campaign and Republican officials filed several legal challenges in an effort to contest the results. The first few lawsuits were directed at battleground states including Pennsylvania, Georgia, Arizona, Nevada and Michigan. The campaign also asked a judge to rule that the Philadelphia County Board of Elections ought to stop counting ballots before the race had been called, which a judge denied.

He Claimed To Have Won The Election

In a tweet, which has since amassed over 1.1 million likes, Trump remained adamant that he had not lost the election.

Trump’s Team Blamed Jared Kushner For His Loss

According to Daily Mail, when Trump returned to Washington, D.C., there was a “black mood” in the White House, with sources claiming that his team had started to point the finger at son-in-law and senior adviser Jared Kushner for the President’s loss in the 2020 election. Kushner, who is married to Ivanka Trump, was said to have been too occupied on the coronavirus response and Middle East peace deals that his efforts in helping the campaign were minuscule.
