Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union are officially new parents! The happy couple to took to Twitter this afternoon, November 8, to confirm the exciting news. Read on to see what they had to say and for all the details on their little bundle of joy.

The basketball player confirmed that he and Gabrielle had their daughter via surrogate. He wrote, “We are sleepless and delirious but so excited to share that, our miracle baby, arrived last night via surrogate and 11/7 will forever be etched in our hearts as the most loveliest of all the lovely days.”
He also added, “Welcome to the party sweet girl! #onelastdance.”

Of course, the happy news wouldn’t be complete without the new mama also confirming it. Over on her Twitter, the Bring It On star posted a series of pictures with the new baby and added a few lyrics from the song “Lovely Day” by Bill Withers.
As OK! readers know, though Gabrielle is stepmom is Dwayne’s 3 sons, she has struggled to conceive biological kids of her own. Back in August, she opened about her 9 miscarriages and her endometriosis diagnosis.
She also expressed that publicly dealing with her infertility has been incredibly difficult. At the time she said, "For so many women, and not just women in the spotlight, people feel very entitled to know, they ask ‘Do you want kids?’ A lot of people, especially people that have fertility issues, just say ‘no’ because that’s a lot easier than being honest about whatever is actually going on. People mean so well, but they have no idea the harm or frustration it can cause.”
