Eileen wasn’t Kristoff’s only Y&R costar to issue their thoughts on his tragic death. He began with the soap series back in 1991.

Melody Thomas Scott, who has been with Y&R for almost 40 years, tweeted, “Thank you all for your condolences for my dear friend Kristoff. We all loved him so much. Brokenhearted.”

Kristoff died on Sunday, February 3. One of his friends reportedly went to check on him at his home in San Fernando Valley, where they found his body.

Police and paramedics were alerted and responded. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The LAPD confirmed his death on Monday, February 4.

RadarOnline.com reported that Kristoff’s autopsy has been completed, but the cause of death is deferred. “The Medical Examiner is requesting additional investigation and laboratory testing,” a spokesperson told Radar exclusively.
