Selena Gomez could be singing and acting in no time. The star, who has not worked since having a reported emotional breakdown earlier this year, may be ready to take on Hollywood with another role.

Selena had a rough 2018. She was reportedly hospitalized twice in October due to a low white blood cell count, a side effect for those who have a kidney transplant. Selena revealed she had the procedure in summer 2017. The organ was donated by her best friend Francia Raisa.

While in the hospital, Selena had an emotional breakdown.

The Hotel Transylvania star then checked herself into a treatment center. “She realized she needed to seek additional help for her ongoing emotional issues,” a source told People at the time. “She’s surrounded by close family and has a lot of support. She’s doing better now and is seeking treatment on the East Coast.”
