Practically Perfect! See Emily Blunt Transformed On The London Set Of New ‘Mary Poppins’ Film

Filming for the Mary Poppins sequel is underway, and the first photos of the highly anticipated film have finally been released!

The first pics show Emily Blunt transformed for the iconic role that Julie Andrews first made famous in 1964. Her hair has been darkened and she appears to be wearing a pop of rosy color on both her lips and cheeks, which reflects the look of the film’s time period, the 1930s.

In the pics, Emily can be seen filming a scene in which she leads children into the Bank of London.

London itself has been meticulously transformed for the film as well to reflect the depression-era setting.

In the sequel, Mary returns to a grown-up Jane and Michael Banks after a family tragedy.
