Emily Simpson said goodbye to 43 with a wild birthday bash and new friends. The reality star's Real Housewives of Orange County's castmates were not present at her party.
Emily turned 44 on January 19 and she partied at Ocean at Main in Laguna Beach, California, just a few days earlier.
Former cast member Lizzie Rovsek celebrated with Emily, however, her current costars, Kelly Dodd, Gina Kirschenheiter, Tamra Judge, Shannon Beador, and Braunwyn Windham-Burke were not in attendance. Lizzie was a regular on The Real Housewives of Orange County in season nine, and appeared as a guest on seasons 10 and 12.
The Ohio native took to her Instagram Stories and gushed over her party. "We are at my birthday party with all my girlfriends," she shrilled on camera at the restaurant. She also showed off her gorgeous cake on the 'gram. The white two-tiered cake was covered with red and pink roses, strawberries and white candles.
For her big night out, Emily sported a curve hugging, one-shoulder red cocktail dress. The party also featured massive red and pink flower arrangements, champagne toasts, and pink goodie bags. "Look at the table! Isn't it beautiful? Look at all the flowers," Emily said in her Stories. "Look at all my beautiful friends."
On January 18, Emily shared snap of herself rocking a skimpy red bikini. In her caption, she wrote about looking towards the future. "Saying one last goodbye to 43, and looking forward to what life will bring at age 44 ❤️," she said, adding the hashtags, "#birthday, #happybirthdaytome, #rhoc, #swimwear, #beach, #lagunabeach, #curves, #curvy, #effyourbeautystandards," and "#noregrets."
Season 15 of The Real Housewives of Orange County is currently in production. Shannon, 55, told The Sun earlier this month that she could "go without" some of her costars. Braunwyn was seen earlier this month with a camera crew setting up at her house.
"Walking away from this season I was at odds with Emily Simpson and Kelly Dodd," Shannon added. "Does that mean I want to have them fired? No. I would never say that." Shannon didn't end up on good terms with Emily and Kelly, 44, but said she hopes her friendships can be repaired in the future.
