The theft reportedly happened sometime between Wednesday and Friday when the actress was in New York.
The unfortunate news was uncovered when Emmy's housekeeper discovered that the glass back door was shattered and the estate's power was shut off, possibly done by the perpetrators in hopes of avoiding a loud security alarm.

Apparently, the Shameless star's combination codes were readily accessible, which explains why the housekeeper found both safes broken into and left empty. The criminals have allegedly stolen Emmy's jewelry, including some worthy antique pieces, but nothing else.
Emmy's burglary happened just weeks after Kendall Jenner was robbed of over $200,000 worth of valuable jewelry and days after Jaime Pressly's home was broken into. But we all know that Kim Kardashian took the biggest hit during her $11 million Paris heist.
