Once she gave birth, first time mama Eva Longoria headed right back to work. Two and half weeks after she welcomed her son, she allowed the cameras and crew from Hola USA! to document her inaugural moments of motherhood. Keep reading to check out the cover and for more details on the interview.
For the cover shoot, the Desperate Housewives star holds baby Santiago up and shows him off like the proud mommy she’s become. The little one, dressed in a striped onesie, flashes a wave like he’s already camera ready.
Eva wasted no time promoting the new cover on twitter. “Here he is! Santiago Enrique Baston is waving hello at the whole world! Couldn’t wait to share this picture! Thanks to @usahola & @bernardodoral for capturing these beautiful moments with my newborn son! #HOLAUSA,” she tweeted.
The magazine doesn’t hit newsstands until August 10, but the 43-year-old gave fans a sneak peek earlier this month. Under a pic of her and photographer Bernardo Doral, she got real about her first post-pregnancy shoot.
She wrote, “First photo shoot after pregnancy! ? Not gonna lie, this one was hard! Trying to breast feed and work around Santiago’s schedule. Couldn’t think of better hands to be in than my dear friend @bernardodoral! Thank you for making it as fun as always!! Grx a @usahola. Can’t wait for y’all to see the photos!”
According to Hola!, during the feature interview the actress opens about her newest role as a mother and talked passionately about how being a mom has influenced her social activism.
Little Santiago is Eva’s first child, but her husband Jose 'Pepe' Bastón has three children from a previous relationship.
