Duggar fans are concerned about the eldest Duggar daughter, Jana! After seeing a rare photo of the 28-year-old posted on the family’s Instagram account, fans are wondering why they don’t see Jana more often—and why she can’t live a life outside her parents’ home and rules.
The Duggar family posted a pic on Instagram of Jana mid-laugh as she stands in front of a giant mural. “Our sweet Jana! She loves to serve others and has a heart of gold!” read the caption.
Fans were surprised to see a photo of Jana for a change. “What?!? You’re acknowledging Jana?!? Your family does nothing but praise marriage and baby making. Its sickening. Its about time you give Jana the spotlight. Please do it more often,” one fan wrote.
Others were concerned Jim Bob and Michelle take advantage of Jana, who still lives at home and helps take care of her younger siblings. “Duggar parents, make sure you are not holding Jana back,” one fan pleaded. “It's true that she may love to serve, but please don't abuse her kindness. Encourage her to pursue her God-given dreams and develop her gifts and talents.”
“I think she’s awesome but pushing 30, forced to share a room with toddlers is beyond WEIRD!!” wrote another fan.
Some fans praised Jana for taking the road less traveled for a Duggar girl and not getting married yet. “Seriously there’s more to life than marriage and children! Honestly I’d be so happy if she didn’t follow in her siblings predictable footsteps!” said one follower.
Others wondered why Jana couldn’t live a life on her own. “I hate that it seems from the outside a Duggar girl has to be married to move out. Why can’t she go to college and become independent?!?!” a fan questioned.
