Farrah Abraham’s volatile relationship with her parents has been captured on many an episode of Teen Mom OG. But the MTV star and her family finally decided to face their issues head-on on the show Marriage Boot Camp Reality Stars: Family Edition, and Farrah’s mom Debra Danielson revealed exclusively to RadarOnline.com exactly what the therapeutic process was like.

“It was an opportunity that was too good to pass on,” Debra told Radar. “To be able to look at the difficulties we had and to do it in an intense way was really important.”

Teen Mom OG viewers are well aware of Debra and Farrah’s love-hate relationship. In one particular episode of the show, Farrah told her mother, “I don’t trust you, I don’t trust either of my parents, you haven’t made good decisions.”

Farrah has even accused her parents of abusing her as a child. In 2010, Debra was arrested for domestic abuse and assault after allegedly choking and hitting Farah.

But Farrah’s father Michael admitted to Radar that the Boot Camp has helped the family immensely, and that they’re “doing excellent” now.
