Halle Berry is officially single! After a divorce process that’s taken well over a year, a judge finally settled the 50-year-old Oscar winner’s split from French actor Olivier Martinez on December 29.
Halle and Olivier have been in the midst of a hostile divorce battle since October 2015. Causes of the split included Olivier’s “epic temper” and Halle’s “feisty” temperament, which led to “screaming fights,” a source told RadarOnline.com exclusively at the time.
The former duo has been seen playing nice with their three-year-old son Maceo in the months since, but beneath the surface, tension was brewing. Things got so bad that Halle “had the locks changed on her house,” a source told Radar.

However, RadarOnline.com has learned that Halle and Olivier have luckily managed to work out an agreement in regards to their young son. A file obtained by the site states that the two will “share custody” and each parent will have “joint legal and physical custody” of their child.
Maceo is Halle’s second child. She already has daughter Nahla, 8, from her relationship with Canadian model Gabriel Aubry.
