RIP! Former First Lady Nancy Reagan Passes Away At Age 94

Former First Lady Nancy Reagan has passed away at the age of 94 due to congestive heart failure, according to her rep Joanne Drake.

“Mrs. Reagan will be buried at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, California, next to her husband, Ronald Wilson Reagan, who died on June 5, 2004," Drake wrote in a statement.

Those who which to pay their respects can do so at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley before the funeral service is held.

Nancy Reagan, who was an actress when she met former president Ronald Reagan, was most well known for her work preventing drug use amongst the youth through the “Just Say No” campaign, which she began working on while serving as first lady from 1981 to 1989.

Nancy Reagan also became a strong advocate of raising public awareness about the cause of and cure for Alzheimer’s as well as other diseases after Ronald Reagan told the public in 1994 that he had Alzheimer’s disease. Share your thoughts on her passing in the comments section.
